Penarth Dock - Coal Tips - c.1900 - Coal tip No. 12, and right, No. 11 and with the main hydraulic engine house on the opposite side of the dock. The mid-enlargement has been colourised. In the lower enlargement, a group of workers have just rotated a 'Cambrian' coal truck on the turntable, ready for entry to No. 12 tip, whilst many other 'Lewis Merthyr' trucks await tipping.
The Penarth Dock Collection holds two copies of this Pictorial Post Card, one of which is post-dated February 1904 and is addressed to a Miss A. Sharp of Helpston, near Mrk. Deeping and begins 'My Dearest Blossom'!
