Volume Three - The Pontoon Era - The new pontoon or floating dock . . . 1911- The company amended its registration details from the Penarth Shipbuilding and Ship Repairing Company Limited to the Penarth Pontoon and Ship Repairing Company Limited, notice of which was published within The London Gazette on 8th December 1911 [100] : In the High Court of Justice — Chancery Division. 1911, P. No. 0134. In the Matter of the PENARTH PONTOON SLIPWAY AND SHIP REPAIRING CO. Limited, and in the Matter of the Companies (Consolidation) Act, 1908. NOTICE is hereby given, that by an Order of the Chancery Division of the High Court of Justice, made on the 18th day of November, 1911, by his Lordship Mr. Justice Swinfen Eady, the Court did confirm the alteration in the Memorandum of Association of the above named Company, effected by the Special Resolutions passed and confirmed at Extraordinary General Meetings of the said Company, held on the 14th September, 1911, and 12th October, 1911, and an office copy of the said order, together with a printed copy of the Memorandum of Association, as so altered, were, on the 2nd day of December, 1911, duly filed by the said Company with the Registrar of Joint Stock Companies.—Dated this 5th day of December, 1911.
