10th of March 1910 – The pumping trials on the pontoon undertaken by the builders, Swan Hunter Wigham & Richardson of Wallsend on the Tyne. The drawing is from the Newcastle Archives, the upper image is a copy I made since the original is rather difficult to read. The full description and findings of the trials are detailed on the next pages in full since, as an engineer, I find this level of detail quite fascinating.
