Imports and Exports 1913 to 1935.
The tremendous drop in trade has naturally had serious repercussions upon the Company’s financial position, and the net revenue from the dock undertakings dropped from £543,531, in 1929, to £46,683, in 1935, while railway earnings from mineral, merchandise, and passenger traffic were also reduced substantially.
