1943-1944 - A rather grainy view up the Penarth Dock showing the LST's distant and the cargo moorings on the north quay. A vessel is moored at a coal tip probably having been loaded with bunker fuel for her voyage. A tug is featured crossing the dock which most probably is the dock based vessel 'Primrose'.
