Volume Six - Pre-Victorian to the Present Day - Select Aspects - Hydraulic Accumulators . . . The Tannett Walker Hydraulic Accumulator - March 1913
The above letter [252] covered the enclosed Tender Document of 26th March 1913 to the TVR Board and under separate cover they issued tracings of a 22" x 26'-0" Accumulator and a Tower for same stating that the design "is similar to the three we have already supplied to your Company." - presumably for other TVR docks. They continue by providing an overview of the technical features and overall dimensions of the accumulator. "The tower recommended is shewn on tracing No. 134/13 and is similar to 4 we have quite recently made viz: 1 for Port Talbot, 1 for Bo'ness and 2 for Messrs S. Pearson & Son Ltd." |
