The works of T. B. Rees, Marine Engineer and Ship Repairer were situated between the subway and the time-keeper's office nearby the Missions to Seamen reading rooms and the Penarth Ship Building & Ship Repairing Co., Ltd. works. The photograph was taken c.1910 and shows Mr. Rees's yard, the four coal tips situated within the basin and the Missions to Seamen's building closeby.
