A final check over for the Class 2 Buoy prior to despatch to Trinity House. Following the design and verification stages, Rota Design Limited were consulted upon many of the critical factors including material selection, manufacturing and assembly procedures and many other aspects relevant to the project. The bespoke lifting equipment fitted to the buoys as well as that used on board the tender vessels during maintenance of the buoys was also designed and subject to finite element analysis within the scope of the project undertaken by Rota Design Limited. The photo provides a good perspective of the size of the buoy. [108] [273] |
