Sentinel of the Sands
The 'Sentinel of the Sands' on 'Helwick' station in the mid to late 1930's I believe - see explanation below. This cigarette card is from the Penarth Dock Collection. [000] [001]

Sentinel of the Sands
The reverse of the card with an incorrect spelling of 'Helwick' viz. 'Helswick'. The card is a miniature at 3" x 2" but the quality and resolution of the image is very good. [000] [001]

'Helwick' LV91

A Judges postcard from the Penarth Dock Collection which states on the reverse:- 'Helwick - Trinity House Light vessel No. 91. Built 1937. On active service until 1977, latterly on the Helwick Station in the Bristol Channel.' [000] [001]
