'Pamir' - 'View aft along starboard side from Fo'c'sle Head'. The lower enlargement shows the 'sheet' anchor stowed upside down. The anchor is probably a spare in case of calamity and the loss of a bower anchor. I have a reminder that anchors are often lost in my garden. This one was dredged from near one of the coal tips during the dredging operations of the 1980's in preparation for the use of the dock as a marina. [001]
