The same deck at sea as shown within William Stark's book 'The Last Time Around Cape Horn - the historic 1949 voyage of the windjammer Pamir'. William comments that 'Windjammers often sailed with live pigs to insure a supply of fresh meat during the long voyage. Crewman Hotcha King is wrangling our two pigs and about to slaughter one of them.' [335]
