The Murch, Dinas Powis

A postcard of Murch Road, Dinas Powys dating from the 1920's or 1930's. The Carder family moved in from Splott, Cardiff in 1952 and resided at number 8 being the second apex roof on the left. Soon after, it was renumbered to accommodate new houses, built at the lower end of the road. This isolated road built prior to 1920, intersected a large water-meadow and is today lost in the midst of ever increasing urbanisation! [001]

Dinas Powis Primary School - 1960

A class photo, plus colourised version, taken at Dinas Powis Primary School in 1960. That's me! The second boy from the right on the back row next to my close friend Robert John of Michaelston-le-Pit. Mr. Williams was the form-master and the lady is the head-mistress but I can't recall her name. All help appreciated please! [001]
