s.s. 'Huron' - Penarth Dock

s.s. 'Huron ' - Another of G. Wehrley & Co. postcard images of the steamship 'Huron' moored up at the north quay of Penarth Dock date unknown but c.1910. At the quayside is the original 1865 hydraulic house and accumulator which was complimented in the 1880's onward with a new hydraulic house, water tank and the electric light generator house, etc. I am unable to find out much about the origin or fate of 'Huron' so I would be grateful for further information. Another fine vintage image, plus colourised enlargement, of dock life from the Penarth Dock Collection. [001]
