This section provides and insight into the limitations in place over traffic running upon private sidings on the Penarth Harbour Branch and to the Pontoon situated on Penarth Dock. The (Pontoon) siding into the yard of the Penarth Dock Engineering Company, where I served my apprenticeship, was still in place, but unused, during the mid to late 1960's.
