Penarth Dock Station - An excursion from the Rhondda presumably on its way to Penarth during September 1957. It is headed by a 0-6-2T No. 5607 with a photogenic driver or fireman. The station was closed at the start of 1962. The photograph is borrowed from the excellent book entitled 'Steam in South Wales - Volume Three - Main Line and the Docks' by Michael Hale. [205]
