◊ Windsor Gardens, Penarth - A early to mid-1950's view of the entrance to the park named after the Windsor family and whom gifted it to the people of Penarth. This entrance, with its fine park keeper's house, was situate opposite the sea-water baths. In the top left hand of the photograph it is possible to make out the construction of a concrete monstrosity which was to typify the civic and commercial vandalism of a Victorian and Edwardian masterpiece i.e. the promenade and its unique buildings. A sad reminder of Moments Captured in Time from the Penarth Dock Collection. [001] [20180922]
