The 'Pilot Psalm', an adaption of the 23rd Psalm, was written by Captain John H Roberts of Holyhead, Anglesey, North Wales in 1874 and was also known as 'A Sailor's Prayer'. It was kindly contributed by Seabright from the Cardiffians Forum; this being a favourite of his father. [606] [20180123] You may also be interested in a poem from within the Mission to Seamen Chapter which is also relevant to Seabright and his forebears. It is entitled : " A True Incident that happened in the Bristol Channel in October, 1896. Composed and written by James Brice, Captain of the Missions to Seamen Steam Yacht " Eirene, " Penarth Dock."
