1949 - 'Passat' entering Penarth Dock sea lock on 4th October laden with grain at the end of her last commercial voyage from Australia. The northern jetty can be clearly viewed.

1950 - 'Passat' at Penarth Docks close to the northern entrance pier. The wash from the tug at her stern suggests she is being brought to a halt or is being manoeuvred to align with the entrance lock to the Basin. Gorgeous!
