1926 - GWR - Penarth Dock - Renewal of Middle Gates - Elevation and Sections.

The upper image shows an elevation of the front of the gate.

The mid-image indicates that whilst the drawing originated in 1926 it was checked, presumably prior to manufacture, on the 14th September 1928. Also, note the detail of the forged steel footstep which was required to support the mass of the gate.

The lower image shows more detail of the upper section down as far as deck number 5.
