Cadoxton Dock, Barry - A number of steamships at the quaysides in Cadoxton waiting to be loaded with coal. c.1905. It was actually No.2 Dock but situated at the Cadoxton end of the dock complex. From the art room of Cadoxton Secondary Modern School pupils, including myself, had a wonderful view of activities at the dock in the early 1960's. In the enlargement the s.s. 'Whitby' of Whitby is seen loading coal.
