s.s. 'Yorkshire' - Report of Survey for Repairs of Engines & Boilers for Yorkshire - 18th May 1880.

She was surveyed afloat within Penarth Dock by Mr. A. E. Keydell and Mr. James T. Milton.  The vessel was an iron hulled, screw steamer of 2,192 Gross Register Tonnage registered to the Port of Marseilles. She was built at Messrs. C. & W. Earle of Hull and launched during February 1871. Her vital statistics were 330.0 ft. long x 35.5 ft. breath x 25.5 ft. depth. She was broken up at Marseille during May 1897. [425]
