| Barry Docks - A postcard view overlooking the C. H. Bailey Dry Dock with a vessel under repair. Beyond is the hydraulic bridge which could be drawn back on rails to enable the entrance to the sea lock to be cleared for vessels to pass. The dock to the right is number three with the pit wood quay opposite. In the distance is the Rank Flour Mills on No. 2 dock. The postcard was addressed to Captain J. Davies at Swansea and was posted from Barry in September 1908. Another heritage postcard held within the Penarth Dock Collection. [001] |
