c.1920 - A stroll along the Esplanade - A Kingsway Real Photo Series postcard with colourised versions which help to bring the vista to life. The seawall was extended during 1927, hence, this photograph captures life prior to its construction for the wealthy ladies of the town and the younger members of the community, whilst enjoying their free time and taking the sunshine and sea airs.
