This figure is loosely based on a plan annexed to an Agreement dated 5th June 1857. Figure 1a includes information taken from a document written by Ernest T. Bevan and dated 1949. This information concerns the boat-building yard and the 'Pilot's Cottage' and these have been placed on the plan in what is thought to be their approximate locations.
