Cardiff Installation

This installation has just been erected by the South Wales Public Wharf, Warehouse and Transit Company, Limited, Cardiff, and is situated on a stretch of land on the banks of the Ely, and about one mile from the Bute Docks, Cardiff (Fig. 22, Plate 8).

The River Ely is a small tributary running into the Bristol Channel, and joins the mouth of the River Taff in what is known as the West Muds, opposite the Port of Cardiff.
