In the late 1940’s and early 1950’s, my grandfather used to walk into Grangetown and Tiger Bay to play piano in the local pubs and clubs on a Saturday night. This was the same time as a teenage Shirley Bassey was singing in the Tiger Bay clubs there to earn extra money. My grandfather may have played for her in the Baroness of Windsor Pub in Grangetown. 1b) Raymond Macey - Jim’s son, Raymond James Macey was born in 1926. He was my uncle.
