Mr. T. Wright. There was an interesting event at Penarth Dock station on February 25, when Mr. T. Wright was presented with a wallet of notes on the occasion of his retirement after nearly fifty-three years’ service under the late Taff Vale Railway and Great Western Railway Companies, twenty-four years of which were spent as chief clerk at Penarth Dock.

Prior to going to Penarth Dock, Mr. Wright was station master at Ferndale, but relinquished that position owing to ill-health. Mr. G. E. Howell presided, and Mr. P. A. Collins (district goods manager) made the presentation.
