During a visit to Penarth in June 2016, Julie and Judith called on my behalf at the Penarth Library and inquired about George Wehrley and were kindly assisted by a gentleman who had undertaken a study of his life and work in Penarth. He very kindly offered the following information in support of the research that I had previously undertaken.

Firstly, George Frederick Wehrley at age seven months appears in the 1891 Census for Penarth & District residing at 43 Windsor Road with father Carl Frederick and mother Bertha. The census was transcribed by Barbara Bray from microfiche records.
