Penarth Dock, South Wales - the heritage & legacy . . .

about . . .

Volume Eight - Pre-Victorian to the present day - more aspects - George Wehrley - Photographer . . .

'No.4. Public Library, Penarth.' - Mr. Wehrley's photographic subjects included examples of the fine public buildings of Penarth. There are two versions of the same view, one being a colour photograph, or so I thought, however, on closer inspection, I found it to be a carefully articulated, hand-tinted rendition!

'No.5. Alexandra Park, Penarth' - Another of George's masterful photographs showing the cool stone seats along the wooded glade to the esplanade.Co.

'No.6. Penarth Dock' - A postcard published by G. Wehrley & Co., 97 Glebe Street, Penarth, S. Wales as witness the scan of a portion of the rear of the card.
